handicapped people have the right to graduate and get a diploma

my son has autism , cerbal palsey,down syndrome and more,he went all through school ,and when it came time to graduate, i was told he would not be allowed to graduate with his class,i said why not ,they said well because we don't think he could handle standing and waiting 4 hours with his graduating class , i said well let me see he went all through school 12 years of being teased ,picked on and bullied because he was special and now you saying that he will not be allowed to graduate with his class and he will not be allowed a diploma because he is special but he will be allowed a partcipation certificate thats crazy and its not fair,i think it should be a nation wide rule that if a child regaurdless of his condition if he goes all through school like all of the other kids then he or she should have the right to graduate with his class and recieve a real diploma and have the same rights as the other students do ,my son had to have a graduation ceremony somewhere else because he couldnt graduate at his school because he wasnt allowed to ,lets ban together and stop this nonsense now
