Manatee County Residents against Concessions Helistop

Make your objections known to the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners.

We the residents of Panther Ridge and Lakewood Ranch are against the approval of the Helistop at the Golf Club at Concessions.

We feel this is not customary at a golf club as more than 99% of the golf clubs in Florida do not have them. Furthermore, it is INCONSISTENT with the surrounding communities. Panther Ridge is made up of 9 communities including 5 subdivisions catering to equestrians. Take offs and landings of helicopters directly adjacent to our riding and walking trails is a dangerous mix.

The Board of County Commissioners meeting to hear Helistop case is now scheduled for Feb 2, 2017

The vote at the County Commissioners meeting on Sept 1 was rescheduled due to weather.
Please continue to sign and make comments against the helistop. We will submit additional signatures when the meeting is rescheduled.
