Recently in Texas, a man was literally arrested for trying to have sex with a horse. This is a repeat incident for this person although this time he sustained a broken leg. In this situation, the man was discovered by the horse’s owner. He was supposedly feeding her animals when this occurred. In his defense, the man claims he was hit by a car and crawled to the barn for protection, which police suspect not to be true but rather that he was kicked by the horse.

We are not naming the suspect but rather the situation because of its repetitive nature. Any type of animal abuse and cruelty needs to be addressed in such a manner that will prevent repeated offenses, which did not happen in this particular case, involving have sex with an animal. Studies show that the overwhelming majority of self-identified male and female zoophiles do not have sex with animals because there is no other sexual outlet, but do so because it is their sexual preference. It is a form of animal abuse and cruelty. With your help through the signing and sharing of this petition, we can help to stop repeat offenses of abuse by making the guilty persons held accountable, banned from future animal encounters (ownership, care, etc.,) and engage in an animal cruelty & abuse registry, similar to that of sex offenders. Without taking more serious steps, the abuse will not stop.

Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals – In light of this recent situation where an individual was charged with a repeat offense of having sex with a horse, stricter laws need to be implemented to stop repeat offenses of animal abuse and cruelty. Anyone who has committed any crime of animal abuse and cruelty needs to be held accountable, banned from future animal encounters (care or ownership) and place on an animal abuse registry. Such laws and registry of abusers could help to stop repeat offenses of animal cruelty in the efforts to save animals. Be a voice for the animals create laws as such to save animals from the wrong hands.
