Save animals from cruelty- make trashbags clear!
We all know the story of Patrick, a dog starved, thrown in a trashbag and left for dead. The same story, and worse, happens every day around the world. Half of the time these animals die alone and in pain and terror because completely opaque trash bags hide the horror. If all trash bags were semi opaque or transparent, more animals would find their way to safety. Please show your support as consumers for trash bags that are safer for animals and that help make life harder for criminals!
We the undersigned have joined together to show our support for a more humane world where animals do not suffer silently and in obscurity. Believe it or not, a change as simple as discontinuing opaque trash bags would go a long way to making this world a reality. Almost everyone knows the story of Patrick, the dog in NJ that was tossed into a trash bag and down a trash chute. He was lucky, because he moved and someone paid attention, but other dogs thrown into trash bags have not been so lucky- because black and opaque trash bags make it all too easy for unsavory individuals to hide their affairs. Transparent or semi-opaque bags would provide a reasonable amount of discretion for the general public without aiding criminals in their disposal of evidence. Take a step toward making this a better world for all who live in it by changing the way people think about what goes into a trash bag. Help the animals who are victims of cruelty be more easily found and aided.
