It is a human right to have one's heritage. Adoptees have been dealing with their affairs without this one very important document to fill in the gaps from this heinous oversight. It is not a fault, it is just a very hurtful way to go through life. We need to rectify this situation now. As we sit, those of us who do not have access to our records, and have to watch our fellow Adoptees in other states as they finally get their however small birth records. We see how important and self-actualizing that this act is for these people who have been denied this vitally fundamental right as a human. I implore you to sign this petition, and as you do this one act and we gain access to our records we can finally begin to piece our lives back together, and heal.
