Stop exclusive raids in pokemon go

Niantic announced mewtwo was to be released in exclusive raids. The exclusive raids have many limitations on them that could not allow players to participate in the raid battles. The proposed system will ensure that some people will have to take time off of work to participate in the raid.

I currently raid with different people everyday. Being close to a military base many of those players are in the navy. If they get an announcement that they are invited to an exclusive raid, and it aligned with their duty day, they would not be able to attend under any circumstance.

Shift workers move from days to nights. Their raid times fluctuate depending on the week. If the exclusive raid occurs during a shift change, then they could get an invite, and not participate.

On the weekends normally raid for about 10 to 12 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Many of the people who raid drive an hour or two just to raid. The idea of an exclusive raid will kill the small community that is starting to form. Often times it is different people on Saturday and Sunday. For these people who raid and put in 12 hour days, the raiding would stop.

I have gotten people to start paying pokemon go because of the raids. Just random strangers asking what we were doing. They said they used to play, but stopped. I convince them to log in and try it, and they are hooked. The exclusive raid will remove this.

The current raiding system in pokemon go is not perfect as there is no in game chat. There are still changes that the community can expect will happen to raids. However, this exclusive raid is disheartening.

My petition is to ask niantic to not go forward with exclusive raids. I beg them to continue the current system. I do not mind a few changes to the current system; however, excluding people from raids will destroy the current pokemon go community.

The pokemon go community may not have the numbers that it initially had; however now it is more social and interactive.

I don't want to be the person standing and gathering people for a mewtwo raid. Then have to explain to the 10 year old kid that he can't help with the raid.

Niantic I beg you to release Mewtwo as you did the other legendaries and stop the exclusive raids.
