Stop ticket touts!

The endless amount of times I have tried and failed to get tickets to gigs/concerts I've wanted to go to because of people buying them in bulk and selling them on for three times the original price also known as... Ticket touts.
I feel as an avid gig goer, not being able to have a chance to get tickets to my favourite artists shows because these ticket touts/robots are somehow bagging every ticket available making it unfair for those who are actually interested in going.
I would like to perhaps try and stop this from happening again so as to stop actual fans from disappointment.
