My daughter Jody Ledkins has been missing since 1985 in the Northeast Kansas City, Missouri district.
I feel that there is a voice for the missing of Kansas City, Mo and most of all my daughter Jody.
There is a deficient amount of detectives in the missing persons dept. in fact, there is only one at this time. One detective to handle over 300 cases plus, one detective that will not be able to follow up my daughter's case. Where is the justice and voice if there is not any support for the missing?
The only acceptable answer is funds to get help for a unit in this law enforcement, to get help find the answers to finding my daughter, and to get help find the person/persons responsible for her disappearance. The Kansas City, Missouri community is in direct need of answers on why there can not be more detectives in the missing persons department.

Guess what! The Kansas City Missouri Police Dept called, they are updating their missing persons to a unit! Yep! That is right! Plus, they are putting not only the detective with the overloaded cases on Jody's but there is going to be two more on her case. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!

Updates of 17 signatures is so welcomed! A petition will be also drawn up for this spring where I will be physically walking in the Northeast area of KCMO for Jody! I have great friends and hopefully this will help get more information for those who has the knowledge to help find Jody.
