I am a Heywood & Middleton Labour Party member and I nominate Jeremy Corbyn for leader

We're fast approaching the deadline for a Constituency Labour Party leadership nomination meeting. CLPs around the country have already had nomination votes with 149 voting for Jeremy Corbyn and 25 for Owen Smith as leader.


Despite calls a nomination meeting in Heywood & Middleton CLP, this has not happened. Some of our members feel frustrated that we have not had the chance to demonstrate our views in this way.


Supporters of Jeremy Corbyn's leadership in Heywood & Middleton would like to express our support for our democratically elected leader in the absence of such a meeting.
