My daughter Melinda Schaefer was murdered in her office while at work. She was backed in and stabbed 29 times by a coworker! She had no security, panic button, cameras,or dogs or a second way out ! It has devestaded our families . She had been married to the man of her dreams for only 7 months!
I would like to petition a law that all building with workers especially working alone to have some type security. I don't want this kind of hurt put on someone else's family. They did catch the guy . Thank God ! But it took 2 months to do it. This has been the worst time in our family's lives. It has effected to many. It was torture on us waiting! It would of been better with security. Maybe she would of lived.
Our family is broken !
