Stop War With Iran

Chuck Schumer, the senator from Wall Street and the Senate Democrats' leader-in-waiting, has announced his opposition to President Obama's historic deal with Iran.

This deal is our best chance to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. It is what diplomacy yielded, and the only option other than diplomacy is war.

Chuck Schumer was wrong when he supported the war in Iraq in 2003, and he is wrong to put us on a path to war with Iran now. As MoveOn's Ilya Sheyman said, "Risking American lives in wars of choice isn’t leadership, it’s small and backward... Frankly, we thought Senator Schumer and other Democrats in Washington had learned their lesson after being misled into supporting a misguided war of choice in Iraq."
