This is definitely important because this dog was a member of the family to everyone in that neighborhood. He wasn't aggressive and wasn't an annoyance. He stood no chance against the one he could never hurt because he looked up to him to care for him. How insane is a man to beat and kill his own pet? Animals do not understand this klind of behavior. It sickens me to know that someone could be so heartless and evil. If he can do this to a poor defenseless dog, who's to say he wouldn't do it to a child? He needs to be put away for a very long time or deserves to be put to death. He is insane and should not be allowed to walk the streets freely in society. He is a danger to the animal community as well as the people community.
