Join us and send a message to Volkswagen that their customers deserve an opportunity to sell back their diesel vehicles that have been sold to them under false pretenses. Volkswagen knowingly broke the law and sold vehicles to the public using a device to trick emissions tests; vehicles that we now know are emitting up to 40 times more than the allowable legal levels of certain pollutants. The government has demanded Volkswagen recall all vehicles involved (nearly half a million in the United States) and repair them, however any repair that they implement will result in either loss of power and performance, reduction in fuel mileage, or both. If they end up using the urea injection system to fix the issue, this will result in loss of cabin space and increased cost to the consumer. Either option will result in a change to the operating specifications of the vehicle and possibly a lower resale value.
Our "Clean Diesels" were sold to us under false pretenses and it is up to Volkswagen to make it right. Instead of all of us filing lawsuits (and lining the pockets of lawyers and politicians) we urge Volkswagen of America to create a buyback program for all involved and do right by your customers.
