Demand St George's Day as a national holiday

St George is the patron saint on England. As such we should celebrate in a way as others celebrate their patron saint days. I call for all to sign this petition to present to parliament for the MPs to consider this demand and allow us to have the day as a national holiday.

Dear Sirs,


I am writing to you to call for St George's Day to be made a national holiday. To many years have gone by without the English people being able to celebrate their heritage as other nations are able to do.


I call for this to be raised in parliament and put to a vote to be sustained and passed, to be implemented in the coming year.
