Justice for Boo Boo and Nemi

Peach County Deputies shot and killed my two Pitt bulls in my livingroom in front of five wittnesses. My dogs were not being aggressive in any way. They were sitting next to each other and the officer walked up took aim and shot them both in the head.  After they killed them they dumped their bodies on the backside of my property and withheld that information  from me for two weeks. The actions of those deputies was purely inhumane. Reguardless of the reason the deputies were there, these dogs pose no threat to them. These were not just dogs. They were my constant companions. I am a single woman that lives alone in the country. Boo Boo had been with me for almost six years. They were like my children. I have pictures that are very graphic. I can not even bare to look at them. To see them go to Justice for Boo Boo and Nemi on Facebook.com. I should have at the very least been able to give my pets a proper burial. I am asking that these deputies be held accountable for their actions. There was no reason for this behavior and we need to speak out to stop this kind of needless killing of animals.

We the undersigned will be sending a copy of this petition to our elected officials of our city and state. We are asking  our officials to mandate a policy that calls for a more humane policy for handling of animals during executions of warrants. We are sending you this letter to inform you of our intentions and ask that you address this matter wiyhin your department. We are to the half way mark of  acheiving our goal. We will notify you when our goal has been accomplished. Thank you for taking the time to read our petition. Please take the time to read the comments expressed in our petition. This is a matter that has occurred far too many times. It's time for change.
Sincerely
Jody Law
