Extension of IA due date

Being in your I.B. history of the Americas class has been a wonderful experience. Our first IA will be due on December 2 and both classes believe this is too soon. Since this is our first IA, we still don’t fully understand how one is written correctly. Our progress on it has been quite slow. We understand that this year is your first year teaching an IB level class so it has been as much of a challenge for you as has been for us. We would appreciate it if you could extend the IA's due date to the either December 8 or 9 of 2014.
