Stop the killing of California Sea Lions for eating fish.

The reason for this petition is to stop the abuse again the California Sea Lions. Not just the killing but the branding of them. Yes they are being branded to track them. All of this for eating Salmon.
Despite a number of lawsuits challenging the killing from the Humane Society of the United States, Portland District Judge Michael Simon, declared the killing legal. Over the next five years, 92 seals per year, or one percent of the population, can be shot or killed by lethal injection. At least one has already died from the shock of being branded.
Most of the time the California sea lions at the Bonneville Dam, who in ordinary circumstances would have the protection of the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA), do not have the benefit of this protection because people want them dead.
Us humans take many times more fish from the river then the sea lions. If you want more info on the story read this http://digitaljournal.com/article/346455 I myself will never visit a state who abuses animals like this.

Many people including myself are against the actions you are taking against the California Sea Lions. It is not humane to brand animals in this day and age.
The seals eat at most around 4% of the salmon and we take over 17% of the salmon. So to kill them for that 4% is just a bit over the top.Will you please look into the numbers and end the actions you are taking.
Many people are speaking out agianst the actions you plan and or are doing.
