AUTISM IS NOT A CRIME, VIOLATING HIPPA IS !!

Tim is a 24 yr. old man with, Autism, Mild Retardation, Tourette Syndrome, Developmental Delay .Born on the 4th of July the date we celebrate or FREEDOM.
He has been in jail since August of 2017, after a Government funded program developed to help persons with his disability violated his HIPPA rights by revealing private information about Tim without any incidents to warrant this. Without a trial or even a conviction, His Defense Attorney is seeking to send him to a State mental facility with razor sharp wire fencing till he becomes able to stand trial. He has the mentality of a 13 yr. old and will never be able to stand trial so this will be a life or death sentence for him.
Tim had No Attorney or Family member present when he was questioned after he was arrested. The arresting officer told us "After a couple of hours , he confessed." He was told to "sign the paper and then he could go". Tim told us he thought he would be taken home. Instead, They took him to a neighboring county jail, away from his family. From there, he was sent to another county jail in diapers due to a medical condition. Diapers and jails do not mix!
I am asking that the Government  acknowledge the need for Law Enforcement and the Judicial System to be required to have extensive training pertaining to the Arresting of persons with Autism and  Courtroom procedures along with Training for Defense Attorneys that are appointed to persons with this form of Disability. His Rights were and continue to be violated. His Medical needs while incarcerated are NOT being met!
Please help us stop the injustice. Help Tim get the right Defense Attorney and Let him be Heard. Tim is not the only one in this situation and your child could be NEXT!
Please sign and share, as Autism is a growing Medical Diagnosis and still there are NO LAWS to PROTECT THEIR RIGHTS!
