FREE THE DENVER AQUARIUM TIGERS

Lily and RaimeHi! We're Lily Woods and Raime Mckellip. We're 13-year-old Care2 members from Colorado Springs. After seeing the tigers at Denver's Downtown Aquarium, we started this petition to release them to a sanctuary.

The Denver aquarium is home to Marah, Besar, Heran and Jalan -- 4 endangered Sumatran tigers which are kept in a very small enclosure.

Tigers are solitary animals, so being so close together is abnormal. As an example, the healthiest Sumatran tiger population in the world lives in Kerinci Seblat National Park in Indonesia. 190 tigers live in this enormous park -- so each tiger has 60 square km to roam around in!

Landry's restaurants knows food, not tigers! Tell their owner to send these wonderful tigers to a wild animal sanctuary in Colorado. These animals deserve the best life possible, and the aquarium does not offer that. PLEASE HELP THESE POOR TIGERS.

If enough of us take action, we can convince Mr. Fertitta to do the right thing for these important animals!

Hello Everyone! It's been a few years since the last update- Raime and I are both 19 now, and in I am located in New York now. I logged back on recently, and was shocked to see that this cause is still active and has supporters. Please, continue to sign and share this petition, and I will work on a plan for what to do with this. Thank you all so much for your support.

Raime and I have recently gone to the aquarium to view the tiger exibit, and we noticed something odd. Only 1 of the Tigers, Besar, was on exhibit. So, if only 1 tiger is on display at a time, where are the other tigers kept? Raime and I will update when we find out more. Remember, keep sharing this petition, and thank you so much!
