Herlinda Trigo tied her dog to her truck bumper and dragged the dog until it died.  A witness, who saw what was happening, caught up with her and told her to stop the car, but she cursed him and sped up.  When police caught up with her, she denied knowing that the dog was tied to the back of her truck.  She did admit to dumping the dog in a wooded area after the rope snapped the dog's neck and the poor dog died.

Trigo was arrested on Wednesday and charged with cruelty and animal torture. She was released after posting bail.

This petition will presented to Susan Reed, San Antonio District Attorney's office, requesting the maximum sentence for this psychopath.
