Petition to Remove Disgusting and Ugly Web Ads

Target:
Internet Users
Sponsored by:

This is a petition that will be sent to FastClick, EdgeSuite, Google Ad Words / Ad Sense, and any other publisher I can find to stop allowing disgusting web ads on their ad services.

While the general web population is fine with ads on web sites they should be at least tasteful. This means users don't want to see bulging fat animated stomachs, muffin tops, or giant yellow teeth, or anything else that seems repulsive. It's hard to believe that these ads can sell products since most users tend to either refresh the page (causing extra page views) or scroll the page up or down so they don't have to look at them, while attempting to check things like the weather or read news. Sites some of these ads can be found on are: MSN.com, Weather.com, wunderground.com, myspace.com, and other sites using Google Ad Words... others to be added.

For anyone that wants to see the the stomach ad, click the link below:

In a time when the economy is slow it seems a bad idea to forcing more people to install add blockers and get them to hate ads. Google needs to keep the ads decent and pleasant. As a person who creates ads this really can be done. These are done for shock value and to get attention which they do get, however a quick Google search shows the attention is all negative. Sign below and lets clean up these sites from disgusting ads.

Thanks for your time.

Why has this become okay all of a sudden?! Half naked obese bodies, close up images of (fake) wrinkled faces, pimples, and oh, and I just saw on The New York Times website, a belly with red shingles all over it. How about some class?

It's really disgusting to look at these ads, and embarrassing when a boss walks by at work and sees animated cellulite and girls in bikinis on my computer!
