Stop Agressive Panhandling

I live in Central Phoenix off Northern in a gated community east of I17. I also own a software company just north of Northern off 23rd Ave. I am one of the most giving and caring individuals but have had it up to here with the aggressive panhandlers in my community. I cannot enter my building at work, drive, get gas, go to the grocery, buy lottery tickets, go to the pharmacy or any other daily activity without being bombarded by panhandlers. It is so out of control that I feel threatened by them and wonder why nothing can be done about it. Nine times out of ten these are young people who appear to be able bodied and just choose the easy route of begging for money to play on people's emotions.

No less than 5-10 times a day I am confronted with one of their hair brained hard luck stories and I have to say I am so over it. This is my community and there has to be something that can be done to stop it.

While they may or may not be homeless they should not be allowed to infringe on others.
