In the year of 1977 1.3 million elephants lived in Africa; by 1997, only 600,000 remained.
Even though it's illegal to kill the Elephants in Africa these days, people still continue to kill them. These beautiful creatures are important to this planet and it would be a nightmare to see them die out!
