It Is Time To Impose Term Limits On All Members of Congress

As we are all too painfully aware, some politicians rely on lobbyists to get elected and remain in power, while continuing to do absolutely nothing for “We the people;” “We, the people” who hired them to work for us. Many serving in The United States Congress have stayed too long at the fair on our dime. We must end this practice now. It starts with us!

The time has come for us as Americans to let all members in the United States Congress know that serving a lifetime term is only a privilege for the justices of The Supreme Court. It is not a privilege for members of The United States Congress.

When you and I under perform at our places of employment, our employers do not keep us on their payroll. We don't get to keep our jobs. So, why should we continue to let these inept and selfish people keep theirs indefinitely?

It is time for “We the people”, to reclaim our rights and our country, and show the leadership of America that this country belongs to ALL of us - not just the top 1% running it. These elitists keep benefiting from the policies they enact into law for themselves, while continuing to hurt the rest of us. It is time to impose term limits on them to insure they do not keep working for themselves indefinitely.

Our Founding Fathers created the government to be run by the people. That means ALL OF US! Not just greedy lobbyists with their own agendas. We cannot afford to let self-serving elitists continue dictating the way America should be run. Imposing term limits on congressional leadership is the only way true change can ever come to America.
