We Demand More Investment in The NHS, The No 1 Health Service

According to the June 2014  Executive Summary of The Commonwealth Fund The United Kindom holds the number 1 spot overall with the third lowest expenditure per capita of $3,405 compared to the USA at $8,508. This proves that the UK is providing an excellent service with minimal expenditure.

However in The 2013 NHS Staff Survey in England over 70% of staff feel that there are NOT enough staff to enable them to do their jobs properly. Amongst mental health / learning disability staff the figure is 69%, with over 80% of ambulance staff stating that they do not have enough staff to do their jobs properly.

It is imperative that the valiant staff of the NHS who produce the finest health service internationally is supported by government. The way to do this is clearly to invest and stop the break-up of it's fine services. A private health service is not wanted by the people The NHS belongs to the people and should always be free at the point of need!
