"Et spark for en asylsøker"
Taekwondos-Dagmawi rømte fra Etiopa i en ung alder etter at han sto i fare for å bli fengslet og drept. I dag er han 23 år og har fått avslag på sin asylsøknad.
Dagmawi elsker idrett og er tilknyttet til en idrettsklubb i Trondheim der han deltar aktivt. Han har markert seg som en meget god utøver, og ville vært aktuell kandidat for landslaget i taekwondo. om han hadde norsk pass.
Det er tragisk både for Taekwondo Team Heimdal og viktigst av alt for Dagmawi hvis han mister alt han har bygd opp gjennom den korte perioden han har bodd i Norge, sier trener, støttespiller og taekwondo-dommer Rana Taufique.
Dagmawis advokat mener at den tidligere klagen ikke var fullstendig nok. Han jobber nå aktivt med Dagmawis videre asylsøknad og anmodning av omgjøring av avslaget.

Taekwondo-Dagmawi escaped from Ethiopia at a young age, he was in danger of being imprisoned and killed. Today he is 23 years old and has been denied his application for asylum.
Dagmawi loves sports and is affiliated to a sports club in Trondheim, where he actively participates. He has distinguished himself as a very good performer, and would be the candidate for the national team in taekwondo. if he had Norwegian passports.
It is tragic for both Taekwondo Team Heimdal and most importantly for Dagmawi if he loses everything he has built up over the short period he has lived in Norway, says coach, supporter and taekwondo Judge Rana Taufique.
Dagmawis lawyer believes that the earlier complaint was not full enough. He is now working actively with Dagmawis on asylum and request the reversal of rejection.
