INCREASE WAGES FOR ERIE COUNTY'S CHILDCARE PROVIDERS!!!

It's wrong that people who provide child care all day aren't paid enough to provide for their own families, while parents struggle to find quality, affordable care. I stand with providers in Erie County to be paid the NYS Fair Market Rate and paid the same rate services provided by contracted and non-contracted providers accepting Erie County's childcare subsidies for low income families.
We want quality care for all children by trained folks. But – and you probably already know this – our country's child care system is broken, especially for parents low income families. Not paying adequate wages to support a stable, skilled workforce is irresponsible to the millions of children needing care.
You can add your voice to the chorus by reaching out to your Legislators too! Let them know you think it's important to start by paying providers the NYS Fair Market Rate. Ask them to pay the fair market rate to all childcare providers accepting childcare subsidies. Child care workers should be able to pay their bills without depending on some form of public assistance.
I am asking for your signature to support daycare providers. Thank you in advance, together we stand - divided not a chance, and its time for a change. We need your support somewhere in the future we look much better than we do right now.
