I am the daughter of the football legend Dexter Manley. My name is Dalis Manley. I was going through the roster of the Washington Redskins for this season, and I was disturbed to see a man wearing my dad's number. After giving so many awesome years to the team, I feel that his jersey should be retired... It is not right that the Redskins keep treating my dad like he has done nothing for them and the team. My dad has changed his whole life around for the better, and still holds records for the sacks that no other Redskin had been able to match up to yet thus far. Everyone has a past and I feel like no man other than my dad needs to wear that number 72... He is deserving of the Hall of Fame, and is very deserving to have his jersey retired. To me,him not having his jersey retired all deals with politics... Is that fair? No it is not and all of DC thinks and feels the same too. No ONE NEEDS TO WEAR MY DADS JERSEY AT ALL!! I don't know how I can get this out to the Redskins association so I decided to write you guys!
