Richwood High School Stadium Named Mackie Freeze Stadium

Mackie Freeze, coached at Richwood for 13 seasons ending in 1967, won four consecutive state titles from 1961-1964 through the last one was wof by forfeit, so Mackie Freeze never counted it.
Also district champion from 1960-1962, Richwood complied a 59-game winning streak in the early 1960's.
He sent dozens of players into college programs and the NFL, including Joe and Simon Profit, Charles "Tank" Smith, Don Zimmerman and Fred McHenry.
