This petition aims to raise awareness about the the problem of human overpopulation that affects not only the US, but the whole world and especially developing 3rd world countries. Overpopulation also is the greatest threat to our environment and it's beautiful diversity of life. As an aspiring marine biologist this part of the issue scares me the most. I propose that a course about the problem of overpopulation, how it impacts our world and how we can help prevent it be added to our New Jersey school curriculum. This will help bring awareness of this issue to our future generation that can than take action against this issue, rather than contributing to it by raising more children into an already crowded world.
