Endangered Mountain Goirillas

Endangered Mountain Gorillas
A long time ago there was a lot of Mountain Gorillas living in their own habitat. Now there are only 380 Mountain Gorillas left. There almost extinct from the earth. This is because habitat loss. Habitat loss is the number one thing why Mountain Gorillas are getting extinct. This is because people are coming in to make farmland, but while they are doing that they are breaking down Mountain Gorillas habitat. The things they destroy are trees and plants they eat, also their environment. Every time they destroy land more Mountain Gorillas die and that means their population goes down more.
War was also a big effect on Mountain Gorillas. In 1994 there was a war in Rwanda where Mountain Gorillas live. People from the war started coming into the forest, and living there. After time they started killing the Mountain Gorillas to stay alive. Then they kept killing more and more to sell their body parts for money. They even still do this till today.
There is some good news. The Mountain Gorillas have people helping them. The National park is a big part in this process. They save gorillas all the time and especially their land. When they save their land they look carefully and take down all the traps poachers had. In this land the gorillas do what they want and they do not need to worry about people harming them. This is because all day everyone that works there watches them closely. Also, they help them if they are injured or sick. When war ever happens it can be death threating, but people still come in everyday and risk their life’s for the Mountain Gorillas. Make a donation to https://donate.fauna-flora.org
