We the people from all the four directions living upon this planet believe Native Americans voice have gone unanswered for far too long. We have witnessed many wrongs in history such as slavery of African Americans, genocide against Jewish people and imprisionment of Japanese Americans. The time has come for humanity as a whole to acknowledge the injustices Native Americans have suffered in the past to the present!
The sad truth is these wrongs still exist, natives living in poverty, barely surviving in broken trailers with no running water, plumbing, electricity or heat. The same conditions you see on those commercials asking people to donate money to the children of third world countries. The only difference is, its happening in the United States of America to Native Americans.
This is our time for humanity as a whole to send a message to the United States Government, asking for a joint resolution to be passed by the United States Senate, United States Congress and signed by President Barack Obama with his approval.
This resolution should acknowledge the holocaust, ethnocide, genocide and false imprisonment of all Native Americans by the hands of the United States Government. The resolution should also acknowledge that some of these practices still exist to this day. The resolution should include a plan of action to be carried out in order to achieve social equality. This plan of action will include improving living conditions, education and training for Native Americans. The United States Government will select a board to sit down with Native American tribes and Elders to negotiate treaty disputes. I would like to see a bill for free education through university for native children who meet the requirements.
We also request the United States to publicly apologize to the American Natives for taking away their culture, their children, their land and their dignity!
