The La Jolla High School Track and Field has become closed to public access. In the past, public access enhanced La Jolla residents' health, safety, enjoyment, and property values. Return access by posting rules for use, then relying on us, as community users, to ensure they are enforced.
La Jolla High School's Principal Chuck Podhorsky, Ph.D. closed access to the school's renovated track and field. Unlike the prior principal, Dr. Podhorsky feels the public (that paid for the upgrades) has no right to use the facilities. We support returning access. Our community health, safety, and property values will all benefit from free access when not in use for school activities.
