Rami Sebei, know to fans across the world as professional wrestler El Generico, was recently signed by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)
As is within WWE's rights as a company, they have had Sebei stop wrestling under the El Generico name, and without the El Generico mask.
While this is within WWE's rights, as wrestling fans, should we not support a wrestler who has worked his way through the independent circuit, and created a character who is memorable, lovable, and perfect for the WWE style of entertainment, and ask WWE to let him keep said character so that not only may wrestling fans who watch the independants come to know El Generico, but also so the kids who are only able to watch WWE may meet such a fun, kid-friendly character.
Sign this petition to ask WWE Vice President in charge of Talent, Paul Levesque, known to fans as Triple H, to support the hard work of Sebei to create this character by allowing him to continue using the El Generico name, mask, and gimmick.
