Why should having a mortgage, paying tax and insurance and not claiming benefits prevent you from being given a government backed boiler upgrade grant? Replacing your boiler will cost about£1500-£2500 unless you are on benefits. What about people who live on the bread line, people who pay CSA or even our military families who own their own home.
