We as concerned parents, community members and parishioners of Our Lady of Angels Catholic School, sign this petition as a statement of our concern against the proposed closing of OLA, a school that has been serving the Catholic community for 85 years! In an age where public education is failing to meet the needs of our children who come mainly from minority backgrounds , the closure of OLA would be educationally devastating to our children. Where are we to go for a decent education with religious values for our children if you close OLA? We are asking that you objectively listen to our concerns and that you give us and the school an opportunity to find viable financial ways to support the school!
