This petition is for the re-opening of Thunder Rolls.
As of April 30th, 2014, Thunder Rolls, located at 312 Clay Avenue, was shut down by the LCB stating "illegal activity". According to one city offical, he stated that the citizens of Jeannette want all drinking establishments to be shut down. I, for one, was never asked my opinion. If you were a customer of this establishment and would like to see it re-opened, please sign your name so that we can present this to the Mayor. Maybe if one of the officals came into the establishment, they would have seen how problems were handled. I, the writer of this petition, never had a problem when I was in there. Trouble makers were taken care of and the people who tried to sell or do any kind of paraphernalia were removed from the bar. These problem people were put on a "Barred List" and were not allowed to return. Anyone who came into the establishment was carded if the Bartender did not know them or they appeared to be underage. As for the main reason they were shut down, a shooting, occued in a City Parking Lot, five doors away from Thunder Rolls.
In closing of this petition, your signature will show City Officals that you feel Thunder Rolls should be allowed to re-open and start operations.
