Citizens living in baldwin park are you tired of parking tickets for street sweeper when we are limited with parking near your home? I for one had enough. Did you know citys like el monte and la puente sweep one side of the street and return the next day to do the opposite side? This allows citizens to park across the street when services are done to the otherside. Why do they ticket us when parked on our grass yet tell us park on grass when sweeper passes by? Or park your car near your home where services are not scheduled the same time what the suggestion from parking enforcement. Well the nearest place to stichman ave is pacific ave. PACIFIC AVE IS ABOUT 94%RED CURB!!! Is this a trick so they can tow my car away making more money off of me? This in my opinion, shows the city wants our money. What other city will give you a ticket ON EASTER SUNDAY 9AM when you want to wash your car on grass and not waste water. Concrete doesnt need the water as much as our lawn. With our drought the city needs to change the law and let us wash our car on the grass and not on driveway as stated. PLEASE SIgn this so we have somewhere to park close to home and is fair to all of us and do our part to use water wisely! Thank you all for you time!!!
