We don't need representation in Congress anymore, we can vote online for bills submitted and approved by "we the people". Congress is not doing their job. They are bribed by lobbyists.
Good bills that are submitted are affected by the extortion of earmarks. Many good bills cannot be voted for because the "COMPROMISE" is too much to stomach. Good representatives have a gun to their head with earmarks or "Pork". We have compromised our rights and our beliefs away. Time for "we the people" to be heard.
Get rid of Congress, get rid of lobbyists, and get rid of earmarks. The only other battle we would have is "truth in journalism". That is sarcasm. Their is little truth in journalism anymore only propaganda. The propaganda many times influence "we the people" to vote the wrong way. This also involves the "separation of church and state" problem. Churches are being USED to influence the way people vote. Many times the church is used as propaganda for issues parishioners don't even believe in. It is purely political and has little to do with peoples' belief systems.
"We the people" have a responsibility to be knowledgeble of the issues and not be vulnerable to propaganda. That is our responsibility in order to vote. We must read more than one source and investigate before we make a decision to vote.
