I know there are alot of kill shelters,this bothers me terriably. On facebook, as I read facebook pages animals that need homes show up to be adopted. Mostly I see kill shelters on facebook. They show a dog and say someone needs to resue this dog now, it is going to be put own tomarrow. I get so upset with these people i have to say I have a hard time controling myself and writing them and saying nasy things to them, such as I call them murderers. I say alot of things like that because it breaks my heart to see the animal and to know it will probably be put down. I see alot of pit bulls, thy really get a bad reputation.there are so many animals that need homes, most shelters want anywhere from $200.00 to $500.00. I feel alot more animals would be adopted if the cost from these shelters would not cost so much.I learned alot because I have been looking for a dog. As I look each shelter wants these prices. I understand they need money for medical care and general care for animals is costly. There has to be other ways to get money donated to them, then maybe they could actually have more adoptions.I get donation letters in the mail from 3 to 4 places, such as human soiety. these are well known to people. But what about the other smaller shelters,that you wouldn't know about unless you live there or they put it on face book. There has to be other ways to get some donations for these shelters.
