Stop using real fur in the Game of Thrones TV series

  • by: Joe Lemley

Game of Thrones is using real animal fur for their TV Series. Fur is cruel and entirely unnecessary. Common methods of obtaining fur include, gassing, trapping, and anal electrocution.

Although Game of thrones is getting their fur from a company (House of De Clifford) that claims to not use endangered animals, this is no comfort for the innocent animals who suffer and die due to the cruel practices of the fur industry.

Ask the show creators, David Benioff and Daniel B. Weiss to insist that only faux fur be used because entertainment is no reason to support animal suffering.

Dear Mr. David Benioff and Daniel B. Weiss, I'm writing you to ask that you stop allowing real animal fur to be used in Game of Thrones. Obtaining your furs from House of De Clifford (or any other supplier of real animal fur) is directly supporting the abuse of real animals who want to live free from suffering just as we do.

I'm confident that your talented staff are more than capable of creating the same quality productions without the need to use real animal skins. The same stunning effects can be achieved without cruelty.
