Each year over 5 million children are sexually abused worldwide. In Canada there are over 200,000 annually. This is conservative. More and more professionals, especially teachers are being charge with this heinous crime that destroys children and families by imputing upon them a life of torment: addiction, suicide, criminality, mental illness and overall maladaptive lifestyle. Some professionals continue to work with children or are given house arrest.

Canadian Government needs to protect Canadian Children. Last year Canada spearheaded an international child sex abuse investigation. Most of those caught were Canadians, 40 teachers included. Help us to protect Canadian Children. Any professional found guilty of Child Sex abuse should get a minimum of ten years in prison for first offence. They should be band from working with children and organizations that turn a blind eye should be fined a minimum of $50,000 for first offence. Professionals who knew of abuse and did nothing should be charged with child endangerment and upon being found guilty, fine $10,000 and mandatory jail time, minimum one year for first time offender. Let's protect our kids, the Canadian government isn't doing it.
