Panini Comics & the changes to its Lucca's autograph policies - Why nobody likes it.

Hello fellow comic book lovers from all over the world!
As usual, Panini Comics, one of the largest italian publishers, is bringing to this year's Lucca Comics & Games (the third biggest comic convention in the world, and probably even the oldest one) some of the most renowned authors of the world; among them, we'll get the honor to meet Jason Aaron and Mahmud Asrar, two of the most prolific A-tier creators. A great occasion, you'd think (as it actually is!).
    But there's one problem.
After many years of events like this one, we were happy to know that an artist or a writer would come to Italy, thanks to Panini for one simple reason: as long as you bought something made by him/her or spent an amount of cash at the Panini's stand, you could have asked to have your autograph on whatever book you wanted. Basically, the best possible thing for a fan that knows that he probably won't have any other occasion to meet his/her idol through his/her life.
    And then this changed.
For no understandable reason, this year we won't be allowed to choose on which book we'd have liked to get it on, and we'll only be allowed to get it on an ECONOMOCAL TRADE PAPERBACK PUBLISHED TO PROMOTE THE MOVIE or on a BOOKMARK (yes, you read it right). This would have been understandable if services like CGC or CBCS were participating to the con, but NOT ONLY THEY AREN'T INTERESTED IN TAKING PART IN IT, but WE DON'T EVEN GET A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY by the publisher itself: basically, there's no valid reason to adopt a politic as limitating as this one.
In case Panini Comics will read this: this isn't about boicotting you or whatever, but a prayer from a fan who's been buying your products for 15 years, and that's always been excited to come to your stand, meet his favourite authors and get a dedication from them. Basically, it's about keeping a "romance" beetween you, me and the other thousands of fans who monthly support you.
In case Jason Aaron will read this (something that I doubt will ever happen): our community isn't like the US one. We don't have hordes of people who only want to speculate on the love fans have for the creations of their idols (as I did for your Thor, or should I say Thors?). As you will read above, sir, it's just a thing beetween authors and fans, and no one else.
In hope of changing a thing as small as this one,
    Duccio Carnicelli
