The Endangered Species Act is one of the most successful laws ever written by congress.
It should not be " modernized " to appease the corporations who will rape and destroy the habitat in which these endangered species live for the sake of profits.
The ESA is supported by an overwhelming majority of American Citizens and people worldwide, so therefore We The People tell you to withdraw the proposal to "modernize" the ESA, and DEMAND that you do so NOW !!!!!!!
Why do you see it neccessary to develop the habitat where endangered species live. These area’s are not only enjoyed by wildlife advoctaes , but all outdoor enthusiasist , including hunters and fisherman . The corporations and special interest groups in this country already have enough land to exploit through federal leases for mining and drilling . Senator Barrrasso you will not be around long enough to see the horrific effects that will be caused by this special interest bill as neither will I , but our children and our children will and I think it is high time that our leaders in Washington view our country not as some kind of profiit gaining grab bag ---this is America, the country that many of us citizens still love and the ESA is one of those rare laws in this country that the overwhelming majority of Americans love, young and old , democrats and republicans . You sir work for your Wyoming constitutents but more importantly ---your title says that you work FOR ALL OF AMERICA ---your title states this ---U.S. Senator John Barrasso ---do not go through with this bill !
