Help Save Art History at Pine-Richland

In the 2014-2015 school year, Pine-Richland is going to cut both Art history I and II.  This abomination is not tolerable, as these classes are important to cultural awareness and education. I have taken both of these courses and can attest to their significance as well as their interesting topics. If these classes are removed, not only will the Art Department suffer as a result, but the students will also suffer. Many students signed up for both courses and will now be denied their request for an education. How are future artists and/or art historians supposed to thrive when the administration is denying them an essential classroom experience? How can students learn to appreciate beauty in art and architecture without this class? The answer is that they cannot, so we must do all in our power to stop this from happening.
