PETITION to move halloween to the 4th saturday of october
- by: Stormy Tanner
- recipient: Everyone, parents, families, teachers.
Ask any teacher, and they will tell you that the day after Halloween is one of the most difficult school days of the entire year.It is just too stressful and unfair to expect children to go to school, sit, and be able to concentrate and learn anything the next day after staying up late, going to parties, and eating mass amounts of candy.
Sending children out in the dark, on a school night is ridiculous. It creates a conflict with homework and learning.
It would be far more practical for everyone, parents, children and teachers to recognize the day on a weekend.
