Cruelty towards animals in an illegal zoo located in Fryazino, Russia

It is hard to imagine, but there is an illegal zoo that operates in Russia, in town of Fryazino. Dozens of wild animals, including endangered species are kept in unsuitably small cages without proper care in unsanitary and inhumane conditions. Because of serious injuries and the non -existence of proper medical care, the health state of many of the animals is getting worse by the day. A small area dedicated for these animals is crowded with very small cages where wild animals are kept exposed to the direct rays of the sun; they suffer from thirst and heat.

FOR EXTRA PAY ANY INDIVIDUAL CAN EVEN ARRANGE A SO-CALLED DOG HUNT ON THESE ANIMALS. IF YOU PAY A LITTLE EXTRA TO THE MANAGEMENT OF THE ILLEGAL ZOO, IT IS VERY MUCH POSSIBLE TO HAVE A DOG HUNT A BEAR, WOLF OR ANY OTHER ANIMAL OF CHOICE UNTIL DEATH THIS UNHAPPY ANIMALS.

Among the tormented animals there is an alligator that is kept in a terribly narrow cage, not allowing him to move, an anaconda is kept in a tray instead of a special aquarium for reptiles, and an elephant is regularly abused by workers and chained to the floor in a narrow dirty cage. An injured brown bear, a wolf with a broken leg and many other animals are suffering in Russia%u2019s Fryazino illegal zoo!

All the cruelty in Fryazino Zoo was filmed and documented by the national TV of Russia and shown on the news. http://www.vesti-moscow.ru/rnews.html?id=119020

We ask you to help us urge the authorities in Russia to conduct an extensive background check of this so-called "zoo" in Fryazino and similar zoos and immediately close them down with the subsequent transfer of animals into normal conditions in major zoos located throughout the country. We request the city of Moscow officials to provide proper care for these tortured animals and to prosecute the owners and organizers of the "zoo" with the involvement of Environmental Prosecutor's Office, Department for Combating Economic Crimes, Department of Internal Affairs in Moscow and others. Please urge the Russian officials to establish and adopt a Federal law about proper and fair animal protection and animal cruelty. Please, help us stop the unpunished cruelty in Russia!

The elephant is regularly abused by workers, only because it doesn%u2019t want to have it%u2019s picture taken with the visitors! Due to the conditions the elephant is kept in, being chained to a floor in a cage, it can only lie down and stand up. The toilet for the elephant is the same cage where it is chained! It is not difficult to imagine the emotional state of an animal being abused and treated like that every single day. Bears in Fryazino zoo have deep scars on their bodies and heads, due to the paid dog hunt. The wolf does not move and rise, because his leg is broken and is NOT treated. When questioned about these injuries, the zoo keepers simply did not respond. On a video you can note that the zookeeper is badmouthing animals, it is shocking that people in Russia not only physically abuse these animals, but even do it mentally by cursing at them!!!
