I was shocked to find out these radio shows were taken off the air in CT. I enjoyed both shows one in the am going to work one in the pm on the way home. It's not like we needed another ROCK program in CT. It's hard for me to believe these shows were not making $$ for the station. So why take them off the AIR? Things that make you go Hmmmm.

I used to live in Atlanta for 10+ years. When I moved back to CT, I was hard pressed to find a radio station that compared to what I had become used to while living in GA. Then one day I found it Power 104.1 FM. I loved Steve Harvey in the morning I enjoyed my morning commute once again now I am in the same rut as before I am considering purching satalite radio just because the reqular radio stations do not offer the adult R&B genre I long for. CT has enough Rock stations.

I couldn't wait to get out of work every day and listen to 104.1. As a teacher, I can't listen to the radio in school, but 104.1 was my around town drive. I really miss the shows and the radio personalities. Since changing format, I had to delete them from my car's programming. I haven't listened to that station since they changed and won't listen to them until they return. There are only about three decent urban stations in CT. How many rock and roll stations are there?

I was totally shocked when the switch happened! I drove to drop my son off to school and go to work and was listening to my all time favorite morning show with Steve Harvey. Much to my surprise I got out of work, expecting to here one of my favorite radio "talk show hosts" Wendy Williams, who is so real and to the point.. Needless to say I was VERY dissapointed. On top of which there are like 9 other rock stations and only ONE other R&B / Hip Hop station! BRING POWER 104 BACK!

There are like 830924823 rock stations and now only one for hip hop & r&b. power1041 had its own preferences of different hiphop and r&b than 93.7; its not right to just take it away when hundreds of thousands of people in connecticut loved it so much. i thought what happened had to do with money; if not, then why not just add the rock station to some other number on FM? this is ridiculously unfair and irresponsible of clear channel. just wrong.

There's no reason why the station could not be home to both hip-hop/r&b/soul/funk and classic rock. Time management is all it would take. This is really sad, compared to the number of classic rock stations CT has, it is, by no way, no kind of comparison. Let's hope this is not permanent!

This was the same sentiment when Clear Channel flipped formats on Modern Rock 104.1, they alienated their listeners, and they will do the same with the hip-hop and r&b crowd. Clear Channel will eventually kill it's listener base, but CT is better off without 2 HOT 93.7's
