Cancel The Transition To Digital TV

Surely you've been hearing about what will happen on the road to digital TV. For those of you who are reading this petition and don't know what that is it will replace analog broadcasts in the United states. This may seem like a great change because of the technology and it's 2009. It's not it's really a huge waste of money. The government wants to throw away 19 million dollars on this transition  (scheme to waste our hard-earned money on foolishness).  Why are they so concerned about the way we look at TV? After all they are not the ones paying our cable bill every month. Think about  it with all these budget cuts and unemployment we don't need more pressure.  Not to mention of of the people who have been cut from health care.  If you are one of those people who have been cut and lost their job sign this petition.   In this economy we have no money to be wasting on crap that will absolutely do nothing for us.  Congress needs to lighten up they have been breathing down our back all this time and we deserve a break.  They are forcing people to buy converter boxes and antennas to avoid losing their  TV signals if hey are using rabbit ears to receive them. Those boxes are not worth nothing because I bought one my self and I only got the basic channels and plus thee reception is all messed up even with my antenna. Now I am furious and now I'm looking for pay back. If you are one of those people who feel like they have wasted their money sign this petition. The original deadline for the transition was February 17 now it has been moved to June 12. The government has really made people waste their money now I'm sure they want payback as well. The future of the United States is at risk we must act now. If we don't do something the government will be harassing us all the time.  If the transition doesn't go well they'll be the ones paying the price because we didn't ask for this to happen in the first place.  The sick government has been sponsoring a low-cost coupon program bur they ran out of money doing it now there's a long waiting list for coupons. If you ordered coupons and never got them sign this petition. If you know someone who is feeling the same pain tell them to log on and sign.
