End the war in Iraq and focus on Bin Laden

End the war in Iraq and focus on Bin Laden

Target:
United States House of Representatives
Almost 8 years have passed now, and we still have no democracy in Iraq, we still don't have stable government or any signs of success in Iraq despite the surge which was a tactic for a failing war. Thousands of lives lost, and thousands of families ruined. How much longer will we be focused on a country that had nothing to do with 9/11. How many lives do we have to lose for a lost cause when the real terrorists and Osama Bin Laden are between the Afghanistan Pakistan border hiding and planning a new attack. I don't understand, America has the greatest intelligence agency, the greatest technology, the best spying devices, and we can't capture a man that hides in a cave? The war in Iraq in my opinion is a waste of time and resources. I know that Sen. Obama has proposed the withdrawal of troops and focusing on Afghanistan, but I think we must let the congress know, we feel the same way. We need a good time line for withdrawal and a new strategy for Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The current strategy is killing civilians and veterans. I urge all to sign this petition and I will make sure it is emailed to the congress for action to be taken. If they don't act, at least we raised some awareness.

God Bless you and God Bless the troops!

To: United States House of Representatives

We would like to ask you for urgent action of bringing the troops back home and to abandon a war that has gotten us nowhere, and has only delayed catching Bin Laden. Losing lives in a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 is an outrage. The policies and rhetoric of this war are appalling and the people of the United States and the World are not happy about it.  A more comprehensive time line is needed for the withdrawal.

Please revise this and take the people of this nation's opinions seriously and go where Bin Laden is.

Bush is the worst president in American history. Bush facilitated the 9/11 attacks. Subsequently, Bush lied to Congress and the American people relative to the reasons for invading Iraq. Bush purposefully misled Congress and the American people. Then, Bush murdered more than 4,000 United States service members. And Bush wounded more than 30,000 United States service members. In torturing prisoners of war, Bush patently violated the Geneva Convention. Bush unlawfully wiretapped United States citizens. In using "signing statements" to challenge hundreds of laws passed by Congress, Bush violated the Constitution. Bush has ignored global warming. Bush is guilty of criminal negligence relative to the response to Hurricane Katrina. Bush disobeys our democratic values and Constitution. Bush is a disgrace to the United States. Why is no one talking about how much the war has cost this country in lives and money and what effect it has had on the current crisis on Wall Street? Why are we still there? I have yet to hear a answer that makes sense.
